By the way, for some reason this blog time-stamps stuff in Pacific Standard Time. I only point that out because I said I'm getting ready to leave, and the stamp says it's only about 2:00, when it's actually it's almost 5:00. Just didn't want you guys to think I was too slack.

Hey, guys. Any word on Karen, yet? Well, if she doesn't want to join us, then fine. Things aren't bad up here. It's been pretty warm this week, which would be outstanding if I didn't have to, uh, work. It was good to hear about your spring breaks. Steve, I'm glad you could handle the cooking. Just remember, if you ever have to cook for me, that I like my burgers rare. I mean really, really rare. Did you have a lot of hair on your knuckles to begin with? Let's hope not.

Glad to see you guys are handling mom's birthday ok without me. I'm sending her something else so don't worry about me. Guys I'm coming down sometime this month, I'll let you know when.

Drew, I'm glad the show came off all right. Brian and I have been trying to get some sort of band together, without a lot of success, and then you go of and play concerts already. And what's this about some chick giving you a guitar. You must have some kind of spell over the ladies. Guess you learned that from me. Or maybe Tim. No wait, he's under the lady's spell. Sorry, I get that backwards.

I was originally planning to leave for Europe pretty soon, like sometime this summer, but after looking things over, I think I'll most likely work up here one more year, and try to put a lot of dough away. In the mean time, I am doing some writing, but it's difficult to find a lot of time for deep creative thinking when you work full time in a city that's all business. As for what I write about, well, it's difficult to say concisely. Best I can do: I try to convey my thoughts and observations about things through elegant and interesting prose. Hopefully, you'll see some of it someday.

I'm getting ready to head home in the near future. Tim and Steve study hard. Andrew, you too. Take care of yourselves,
Ryan
