Hey there, guys.
First, I imagine you heard I was mugged last weekend. Basically I was out with some friends from work, drinking, and after splitting up to go home, someone beat me up and took my phone, wallet, etc. I woke up in the hospital, and I'm ok; no permanent damage. Anyway, there's no need to worry; I'm fine, and I've gotten an important wake up call. I want you guys to remember that, while college is a great time to have fun, it only takes one night of letting yourself get out of control to end everything. It's important to stay in control of yourself.
Ok, that aside, things aren't bad. Dad and I are 9-0 combined on the football field, and my new place is coming along nicely. The parents caught me up on a lot of your lives (still, you guys should write more), and I'm glad you all seem to be doing well.
Drew, If you want a good CD, and a fun sampling of Jawbreaker from their formation to their demise, check out their newly released CD "Etc". It's all previously recorded stuff, but it's very, very good. If you get it, make me a copy (please). Other than that, there's not a lot of new underground stuff I'm excited about. I am going to see a NY band called the Mooney Suzuki in a few weeks. They opened for the Hives, and played a really great rock and roll show. You should go see them if they come to the Triangle. Bomber hasn't released anything new, but I understand that the drummer is moving back to DC, so hopefully new stuff will follow soon.
Take care, all,
Ryan
